The Future of the I-580 Freeway Extension Freeway Construction Icon

NDOT created two video simulations to display how the I-580 Freeway Extension will look after completion. These simulation files are large, and cannot be played directly from the website. Instead, we have provided the opportunity to download the files and play them directly from your computer.

The video clips simulate how the future freeway would look if you were:

Flying over the entire length of the freeway extension beginning at the Bowers Mansion Interchange, traveling north passing over Browns Creek Bridge, Galena Creek Bridge, through Pleasant Valley and the Steamboat Hills, and ending at the Mt. Rose Interchange.

As the simulation moves along the existing road, you will notice the view of the future I-580 freeway extension to the west (right) in the distance.
